Established in 1976, the Taupō Choral Society is a registered Charitable Trust and a member of the New Zealand Choral Federation (NZCF). The society has been part of the local cultural fabric for decades, bringing people together through a shared love of choral music and performance.

Its purpose is to provide the Taupō community with enjoyment through song, while also supporting members to learn, develop, and grow as choristers. The group welcomes new local members, creating an inclusive environment for anyone interested in singing and being part of a community choir experience.
