Mangakino Golf Club has a flat undulating 9 hole easy walking course with stunning views. For the men the course is 5600 metres par 72 and for the women 5140 metres par 73. Subscriptions are $275 per year for Men or Women. For more information click here.

Great Lake Archer’s is a group of committed local archers who share the enjoyment and challenge of archery. We welcome the following bow styles, barebow, recurve, longbow and compounds. We are primarily a target archery club and hold social fun shoots, games, friendly rivalry and special occasion shoots. Tuition for beginners.

Taupo BMX Club Membership is on an annual basis and runs from 1st January to the 31st of December. It is open to all ages from young children to seniors.

There are three Categories of Membership for the 2014 season:

Club Membership $60 per annum - This fee covers the affiliation to Taupo BMX Club ONLY. It entitles the member to race at club day/nights.  Includes gate access after hours.

Taupo Cycling Club provide cycling activities for enthuisists of all ages. Offering weekly rides like the Sunday Morning Social Ride, Tuesday Night Racing and Skills Sessiom or Racing at the Velodrome.

Welcome to the Taupo Gliding Club. Our club has four gliders available for club members to use. We have two training gliders; an ASK21B - GCP and a Twin Astir - GME. We also have two single seat gliders; a PW5 - GSD and an ASW28 - GSS, which you move onto once you can fly solo.

The club operates with a tow plane only and instructors are available to you all the time. They are happy to teach you the basics to advanced soaring.

Taupo Indoor Rock Wall Climbing has two clubs the Chalky Midgets - Junior climbing club (ages 5-12) and the Stalactites - Youth climbing club (ages 13-17).
