The New Zealand Vietnam Veterans will hold their National Reunion in Taupo from Friday 18 September to Sunday 20 September 2026. Veterans will be based at the Wairakei Resort Centre for the duration of the reunion.

On Sunday 20 September, a memorial parade and service will take place. The parade will form up at 10.15am at Tongariro Domain, south of Story Place. From there, participants will march along Tongariro Street to the Great Lake Centre Memorial Cenotaph, where a memorial service will be conducted. Following the service, the parade will march back to Tongariro Domain, where personnel will be formally dismissed.
