Ruia Taitea brings Ngāti Tūwharetoa together to celebrate who we are and where we come from, a proud expression of our Tūwharetoatanga.

Ruia Taitea is a gathering for all uri of Tūwharetoa whakapapa, welcoming whānau from Tūwharetoa ki Kawerau through to Tokorangi to come together in unity, celebration, and connection.

This is a time to reconnect with whānau, celebrate our culture, and honour the traditions that bind us together.
