The Ngāti Tūwharetoa Taiopenga Kapa Haka Festival is back from Tuesday 9 September to Friday 12 September, running daily from 9am to 3pm at the Taupō Events Centre.

Everyone is welcome, with entry by koha at the door. Please be aware there will be extra traffic and fewer car parks in the area. Traffic marshals will be on site, so take care and watch out for pedestrians.

This year’s festival will host over 3,000 performers and supporters, with 76 groups taking to the stage, including primary, intermediate and secondary schools, early childhood centres and kōhanga reo.
