The Dr’s Quintet musical is set to captivate audiences once again. This unique musical event boasts a line up of talented musicians, primarily drawn from the NZ Doctors Orchestra, which creates an ensemble that convenes annually across New Zealand. The Dr’s Quintet musicians have musical prowess and an unwavering commitment to the art of chamber music, which sets them apart.

Dr’s Quintet performances have adopted an unconventional and rarely seen format: an "Open Rehearsal", providing an opportunity to see and experience the rehearsals, over the weekend which culminate in a delightful "play-through".

Interaction with the audience is key to the success of the format. During the rehearsal, the musicians engage with the public, welcoming their input on the nuances of the music. This open critique and transparent approach invites the audience, accommodating attendees of all ages, to stay as little or as long as they wish.
