Welcome to Tongariro River Rafting! We are the most experienced outdoor adventure company on the Tongariro River. We create journeys and share stories, bringing people closer to nature through biking, fishing and rafting. We’re so dedicated to preserving the natural environment of the Tongariro River that we founded the Blue Duck Project – with the goal of returning the rare native Blue Duck to its traditional habitat along the Tongariro River.
We also offer Mountain Biking tours. Southern Lake Taupo has some of the best mountain bike country in New Zealand. We will take you to trails that ride through ancient beech forests, alongside magnificent trout rivers and past huge volcanoes.
